Long time no blog! I'm deeply sorry about that. Things have been so crazy. I just got back from an amazing trip to Myrtle Beach with my sister. Also and most excitingly, I recently found out that I will be walking in my school's graduation ceremony this May! I'm so excited to embark on this new journey in my life, but I admit it...I'm a little nervous. I'm nervous of the future and the unknown. Although I am walking in this ceremony, I won't receive my degree until I finish an internship. So my life has consisted of internship searching. My summer is pretty busy with online classes, a NYC study tour (that I will make sure to blog), and various vacations (these too) so I am searching primarily for Fall internships. Fall internships are a little more difficult to find, especially since most postings won't be released until the summer. I'll make sure to keep you all posted in this job hunting journey!
It's crazy how uncertain my life will be after this May. I have no idea where I'll be! The internships I'm interested in are located all over the U.S.! I could be here in Atlanta, NYC, Los Angeles, Dallas, Orlando, and the list goes on and on. There are so many aspects of the fashion industry that I'm passionate about. I love the analytical side of buying, the creative side of visual merchandising, and the problem solving and event planning of public relations. There is so much uncertainty and while I could succumb the the nerves I'm learning and accepting everyday that uncertainty can be adventure. I'm on the precipice of starting a new life. This is the time and an opportunity to pursue the life I have always wanted. So while I'm nervous, I'm choosing to be excited, excited for what's to come.
